unless the sabres are going through some salary dump and want the kings to take back miller in any deal, i fail to see why the kings would be interested if they have quick locked up long term already. not to mention the farm system for LA is pretty weak with most of the young talent already graduated, and no first round pick this year (given up in the Carter trade).

if one of the "insiders" could actually speculate the pieces in motion, that would be interesting...

It's ok... You could just give us Carter instead...

Who needs Miller? We have been so epic defensively, we could throw ANYONE in net.

Would LA trade Mike Richards? Could give us a real shutdown center. Maybe it's a way trade not sure who the other team would be. If Byfuglien is available we should go after him

Miller is clearly not happy in Buffalo and as far as I am concerned, he should be traded as quickly as possible. He is a pariah at this point with his attitude in this city and regardless of how good he is, he will not re-sign here. I don't know why the Kings would want him, but if we could get a decent goalie plus in return, I'd let him go immediately. I don't know what to do with Vanek and Pommer - I always liked both of them, but I would certainly shop and see what you could get back for each of them, especially if they haven't been receptive to extension discussions.

This team needs change and Miller hasn't been happy since we let goose go for a first (an excellent get btw)...

Miller has ZERO blame in all this mess!
He has NEVER had a decent D to support him.
If it wasn't because of him, we might have 2-3 wins this season.
All this talk about Steve Bernier, this kid is totally NOT proven.
Miller is a good goalie (Definetly above average, IMO).
I would keep him, he still has 4-5 more good years left.
People are not sick of Miller, WE ARE SICK OF LOSING!!!
Make some changes, 1st things 1st, get rid of this degenerate called Darcey.
BTW, NYR SUCK!!!

Well without being a genius, but I would as part of the transaction that Quick would be going somewhere else and they would see what they can get for quick, i.e mabye a 1st round pick, but if that doesn't happen, the transaction makes god all sense to me, like you said 12 million or whatever it would be in goalie salary, are they trying to set a record for most money spent on a goalie tandem ?

Agreed, but the SENS suck more!

But if we could get another HIGH 1st round pick for Miller this year, do it in a heartbeat.

With the Kings not having a 1st rd pick this year, I could see them trading one of their superfluous goalies for a pick. Maybe one f them goes to Toronto, who always have a fetish for name brand goalies.

Anyone have any specifics as to why Miller is disliked? Inquiring minds want to know.
